So, who all would be interested in doing this again? Doesn't have to be just weight lose, can be anything. Stop smoking, drinking, better your bench, mile run, ya get the point. I think the last thread worked very well at first, and then after a few months it started to fizzle out. Hopefully if enough people are interested Chris will make this thread a sticky like the last one. So, who's in?
A few hundred? When I started the last thread I was at 300lbs(6'1, large frame). I got down to 251lbs last year doing the Atkins diet. Anyone who has done this diet knows that once you start eating normal food again you almost immediately gain back about 7-10lbs simply because your body starts to store carbs again for energy. So, right now I'm around 265lbs. Still, not that bad considering I haven't dieted since Halloween. I guess my final goal is going to be somewhere between 218-225lbs, however 245lbs will be a huge accomplishment for me, and then 235lbs second, being that was my weight when I was a senior in HS.
i walk about 4 miles a day when the weather is peermitting, but its been so cold and wet, haven't been able to i was weighing in about 245 being 6 foot tall now i am in the 215 range, but still need to lose a few

Pred, I'm working on being the best gunsmith I can be! The weight thing, well I've never really worried too much. When I moved to Ok. two years ago, I weighed 217. I had been inactive for almost 2 years, waiting for my arm to get better. Well, after I got moved, I realized I couldn't keep waiting, had too much to do around this place. I'm back down to about 192, and could stand to lose another ten or so, but dieting never did any good. Gotta work it off on my own. I guess my weight ain't too bad for 5-11, considering my age, and damage done over the years. Scotty
I'm Interested again LOL I lost close to 30 lbs the first time but now I need to loose the 30 I gained back plus another 20 !!!
The Holidays were really bad for me LOL food and sweets was readily available.
I had to get rid of it
I eat what I crave and in the end it's up to my "state of mind". If I feel comfortable, my weight reflects that. If I don't, my body speaks up with all sorts of problems. That's just me...
i'm down to 175 now, and i'm like 5'11. i was up to 215, and when i was 5'4 i was 180 lbs. with barely enough muscle to move myself around, it was pretty bad
now to finish up the fat loss and increase arm strength
Count me in! I am 6 foot even and about 190 right now. So not tooooo bad, but I would like to turn more of it into muscle. I am actually testing with the police department tomorrow morning and hoping to pass. I have to run 1.5 miles in 12:29, do 29 pushups, and then do 38 sit-ups in a minute. I am a little worried, but I think I can do it. My goal would be to be able to run longer distances. Right now I am REAL winded at 2 miles and can only push myself another quarter mile after that. Will let ya'all know how the PD test goes!

Okay, Pred, but now I have to buy a scale for measuring people weight! Ain't had one of those in the house since I can't remember! The VA weighs me when I go for my physical. I'll try to talk my wife into joining up. Scotty
I had become the biggest anti fat and sugar nazi ever.
I still exercise, but since starting back out at the sand plant I took up snacking again.
Lets see, converting KG to pounds... I`m just on 200 pounds, and was hovering around 191.
I had got down to 187 but that was rabbit food torture.
I need to quit the snacks and get back under 190.
I tried exercising more, and I suppose my shoulders and pecs are bigger from doing sets of 80 push ups, but I gotta cut out the after work chocolate binges.
For the life of me I can't figure this out. I guess I'm just big boned. At 6'1, no one believed me when I told them I was up to 300lbs. Most people thought I was about 250lbs, maybe 260lbs at most. Even in high school when I was active, lifting weights, I still had a 40.5" waist at 230lbs. But, I had almost no fat on my lower body, and really just a little on my upper body. I had a flat stomach with the usual little bit of fat most guys have, didn't even come close to remotely coming over my belt. Even right now at 265lbs I've got, almost, 17" arms. Oh sure they aren't pure muscle, but it's not like I can pinch much skin on them either. Maybe I am just a bigger guy.
