COMANCHE III .357MAG ????

Went in to put my money down to order my Taurus 5-shot .357 mag, and they had this Comanche III revolver. Polished nickel, 3.5" (i think) barell with fully adjustable sights. New in box for $239.00. Are they worth a C&^%? Looks like it is built really heavy. (As it was also physically heavy for it's compact size.) Anyone ever heard of Comanshe revolvers? Thought I might buy it just as a plinker.

Never mind. I got to "the high road" forum and found out from an accual owner of one who said to absolutley under no circumstances ever ever ever buy one. Accually unsafe to fire his, and the warranty dept sucks! HOWEVER, it has become aperant that Heritage makes a good cheap revolver if someone wants a western style SA Revolver. I had the 6" blued basic model some years ago and loved it. When money got tight and the tourqe converter went out on my chevy, I gave it to the mechanic in leu of some of the labor bill. I still miss that gun.
