CAI FAL for 500$

Got my eye on one at a local shop. It has a little rust on the muzzle but I believe it will clean up nicely. Thinking I can get him down some.

Worth it?

Imbel receiver?...

Ask them if they have a "try out period" or will let you put a few (as in 3 or so) rounds through it to make sure it works correctly before actually buying... or at least a "return policy" if it doesn't work. Otherwise, that seems like a really, really good price.

Parts kit $250. Receiver $250. Basic assembly $75.
$500 sound good to me. Trial period? worth checking.
