Yeah, I heard that with such a huge demand for the 9mm model, they don't have the resources free to make the 45 one.

Hi-Point warrenty "Rocks"

The 995 I have I picked out the trash some guy shot reloads in it and blew it up, swelld the chamber and blew off the extractor "no mag's", I calld Hi-Point noseing around for parts and they said sent it in!
The only money I was out of was the $14.73 shipping it to them"sent buddy's copy of FFL" ,it came back like new with a sling 2 mag's and scope mount! and a new stock.
It came back thru the Post Office and had the buddy with a FFL pick it up.
The lady said they had even warrented gun's from house fire's before
I wasent the buyer, and it was blown by reloads which most Mfg would void the warrenty! and for less than $20 I have one.
I just wished it was a 40 S&W!

I gotta say I'm very impressed with the stories of Hi-Point's customer service on defective/broken guns, maybe I've been too quick to judgement on the big ugly cheap things. Wish I could find one in the trash like Rex.

According to Shirley Deeb at Hi-Point, the Model 4595 (she confirmed that is what the .45 ACP carbine will be called) and its accessories will be released to the marketplace in late 2008 or early 2009. It's in prototype stage now. Here's a link to another thread here on that, which has a photo of the 4595 near the bottom of the thread.

"Most bubba'd gun I ever saw"

Hi guys! This is my first post so please be gentle. I own a Hi-Point c-9 comp and a 995 carbine along with several other guns from various manufacturers. The hi points are great as far as I can tell, no misfires no fail to feeds and I've run just about every kind of ammo thru them that I could find, I've settled on Remington fmj's and jhp's because of the accuracy factor. I have the ati conversion stock and a red dot scope on the 995 and love it, the only complaint I have is the mushy trigger but I've learned to live with it. Not going to say they're the best guns I've ever had but they're certainly not the worst. I can't comment on Hi-Point's warranty since I've never had to use it, but it's comforting just knowing it's there. I, like the rest of you, am eagerly awaiting the 4595! I just gotta have one! I can't wait to try it out on some feral hogs! I've popped a couple with the 995 and it put 'em down with no problem but I've always found that to be the case if you put your shot where it will do the most good.(in the head). But I just like the idea of slingin' that big ole .45 slug out there at between 850 and 1200 fps! That oughta slam a pig, dontcha think?

I have a 4095 and bought my grandson a 995, and we love 'em! Both have red-dot sights on them, and are real can-killers. Haven't had an issue yet with either. I read about a guy that found a burned-up HP carbine in a dumpster after a house fire, sent it in to HP, and it came back in brand-new condition! I think it's somebody here at G&G?

I have used the afor mentioned warrenty on my hipoint carbine . I somehow double charged a 40 s&w cartridge and fed it to my hipoint. At which point the receiver cracked about 1 inch long just at the point it meets the barrell . It also fractured the bolt face. Yea I know stupid thing to do . But mistakes happen hell obama got elected. Anyway I sent in the action and barrell only to save postage. I got back a perfect weapon in a new stock with 4 mags, The letter said we enclosed 2 extra mags do to your wait and a show of good faith. I was blown away. A company interested in taking care of their customers after the sale? Say it aint so joe. Since then I have bought several hipoint weapons. YES THEY ARE UGLY AS HELL BUT THEY ALL FUNCTION PERFECTLY!!!! I for one am allways willing to support a company that has my best interest at heart.

That sure says a lot about a company, they sure have my vote. There is a big crease in the buttstock and numerous 'character lines' and rusty bolts. Maybe it's time I sent it back to see if they can hook me up with some of the improved plastic...
