Still a work in progress but its in the finishing stages. One is a TV stand for my son and the other is an end table. The top is made of quartersawn sycamore. The flaming effect is caused by the quartersawn cut where each cut is cut to the center of the tree; kinda like how you cut a pie.

I once saw some Mosins with this look to it.
