8mm

Does anybody know where all of the 8mm surplus ammo that was out there a couple of years ago went?? It seems loke all that is out there is 30.06 and 7.62.

Yep, people bought it all up because it was so cheap. I've also heard a 'rumor' that our lovely government won't approve importation of any more.

Probably sold out . . . .

Most likely all the 8mm Mauser is simply sold out as it is neither in current military use nor in large civilian use. However, it is a good cartridge and I hope it will stay in production by at least one of the major manufacturers.

The Useless Nations have gotten many coutries to agree to destroy un-needed ammo stocks, instead of exporting to us! If they can't take away our guns, they'll restrict our ammo supply.
Wolf and others are staring to make more 'commercial' ammo in these calibers - still FMJ bullets and military loading - but much higher priced!
