They earned it, their D played lights out. Brady was on the ground most of the game. Congrats to the Giants!

Well if nothing else one of my favorite cornerbacks that Ive seen play gets a ring. Thats Sammy Madison former University of Louisville stud. I rember his senior year he almost beat Penn State and this was back with PSU was top 10 week in week out, single handly. In that game he had a INT return for TD, a PR for TD and a reception for a TD. Think the Cards lost by 3.

Yes, they did earn it. They almost beat the Pats in the regular season. They out played them then also as far as I'm concerned, the score just wound up being a tad higher on the Pats side then.

But yes, I thought the G-men on the defensive side of the ball were all over Brady. He was well out of his comfort zone being sacked what, 4 times?

Thumbs up

I cheered all I could for the Pats but it wasn't enough. So...congratulations to the Giants. They did what they had to to win it fair and square.

it would've been cool if the Patriots could have gotten a perfect record but the giants earned it.

Wow, It kept me on the edge, but Burris was great, while Moss was covered like his quarterback

I'm happy for Elli and I loved his Dad Archie though I didn't care for New Orleans.
Hopefully the other Brother can win the Super Bowl game next year

I watched the game from beginning to end, IMO the Giants wanted it more than the Pats. It was maybe the best superbowl I've ever watched. The Giants deserve the title because they played like true champions. I not a fan of either team, so I cheered for the underdogs, and for a bit, I didn't think they had enough gas to go all the way. What a great game!!

To me this was more shocking than the Jets win with Namath because NYG wasnt very good even at midseason this season. But at seasons end they lost the best TE in the NFL Jeremy Shockey to injury and they still could go to the bench and put great recievers on the field. It just seems impossible the Giants won the S-bowl. I've never seen a team keep getting better like the 08 Giants did.

The Giants pretty much did what I told my friends, and posted in a different area, what they needed to do: play a near flawless game in order to beat NE. The game was excellent and will be used for many highlight reels, I think.

The Giants flat out-played the Patriots in almost every aspect of the game. Eli had a good game, and the Giants defense ran around the Pats O-line. I really wonder why New England didn't use Randy Moss more than they did. The Patriots came to town with a lot of Helium in their heads, and lost.

I actually want to see some of the new Manning commercials that will come out of this-I think they could be better than anything shown during the game.

The better team lost last night I'm sad to say. The Giants, besides Strahan, were undeserving to even be in the Super Bowl. They should have made the playoffs, the should have beaten the Bucs. However here is where the other teams beat themselves. First off, the Cowboys. Jones should not have given Romo that big contract until after the season. He choked last year, and he choked this year. Favre played like a second year rookie. He didn't manage the game, and tried to force the ball all night long. The better team lost to the Giants in both of those games. Usi is not that great of a player either. Their entire defense revolves around one man, Strahan. He's good, and HE deserved to get that ring, but thats it. You take him out and that defense is average at best. Eli is a decent starting QB. He's no Palmer, Brady, or Payton Manning. Their receivers couldn't start for the Pats or the Colts. No, the real winner of last nights game was the Patriots coaching staff and offensive line. Morons, hell, I could have called a better game for the Pats and won. Their defense played GREAT. Holding the Giants to only 3 points for almost 3 1/2 quarters, come on. How the Patriots coaching staff screwed this up I'll never know. The Giants have an average secondary, and a huge gap in their defense 8-12 yards deep right over the middle. The entire game, where did the Patriots pick up their yards? Over the middle on slant passes to Moss and Welker. The only freakin thing the Pats had to do was drop Brady back in shotgun all night long with two backs to block. And then get pass happy with screens and slants. Thats it, thats all. Idiots..... Once the Giants defense starts to ease up on the blitz because they are giving up 1st downs every two plays, then you start to run the ball with Faulk and Moroney to wear them down. Easiest damn game plan you'll ever find. I swear to god, I'm honestly thinking about going up to New England and winning a damn ring on my own. And the Giants running game? Weak, anyone can run the ball when you have a 6'4 265 linebacker running it. I could rack up 900 yards a season alone with a decent line. I'm not much smaller then most of the linebackers in the NFL anyways. What a crock of crap....

Neither of them were my team but I always go with the underdogs.I just could not believe NY came back the way they did.....Both teams should be very proud of themselves to have made it to the Super Bowl..... Brady got rattled-I could it in his face. But all I can say is,it was a very good game.

Brady got rattled because his coaches didn't a piss poor job. Again, all they had to do to beat the Giants was put Brady in shotgun, two backs to help block, and throw quick screens and slants to neutralize the Giants pass rush. They would have eaten up most of the clock, and wore out the Giants defense. Why they didn't do this, why they kept putting Brady in a bad position, why they kept trying to run the ball when it didn't work, I'll never know.
