When I was looking to buy my new Mini-14 (2 years ago), I went looking at Bass Pro Shop and they told me that they don't carry "those" black guns (real snobby atittitude, too). The guy at the counter told me they only sell serious firearms for hunting.

I looked down, pointed and asked him what you hunt with a Glock 9mm (under the glass). He just gave me a dirty look and went to help someone else.

Glad to see Gander Mountain isn't so politcally correct.

Yeah they pretty much sell anything people will trade in to buy other guns and they were having a big sale. I actually stopped in there to look at their AR-15's but this one just kind of ended up following me home.

Similar experience with Bass Pro Shops. Went looking for a mini 30, and he told me they do not sell assault rifles..........Now they did have at least 7 different configurations of ar on the shelf.. So I said ok thanks for your help. Went to cabelas and walked out with a Mini 14 ranch and a model 77 compact in .308. P.S. glad I went with the 14 instead of the 30. much more fun and great for varmints..

I enjoyed my 14. Tons of fun. Wish I still had it.

But like GlockMeister said let's see it.
