Exclamation A quote from our founding father...

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." George Washington

Um ... I really do see any latitude here that can be interpreted as anything else.

Another good example of something I have pointed to repeatedly concerning statements/letters in existance today between our founding fathers that point to the undeniable fact they INTENDED the 2nd Ammendment to be an individual right!

Larry, there's nothing like truth from the past to upset the disarmers! They believed it then, and we believe it now! That's a great post! Maybe some visitors will spread it to other sites. There's no doubt in my mind that the 2nd amendment was placed in the constitution to protect us from federal subjugation.

I'm really at a loss to understand how the 2nd Amendment can be even challenged with this kind of endorsement?

Do current day politicians really want to challenge the words and intents of our founding father? If that is the case, where does that leave us?

It is government of the people, and we the people need to get louder! If they want to go against the constitution, we the people need to vote them away!

There's a great idea! Just think of all the rabid dogs we could get out of office!! I would put new blood in office and just maybe, eliminate the elitist attitudes that spring up after too much time in control!

The Sight's Gun Quotes Page Here is a link to a whole bunch more quotes. Got to love good ole George Washington for laying it out simply.

I've been saying that for a few years now... just not publicly ... I think it is a great idea because it would hold Senators and Congressmen responsible to do what they say... not do what they want in our current system.

There should be no life-long Senators or Congressmen, period. This is where corruption festers...

That sounds as simple and clearcut as can be. Hope someone brings this to the attention of the Supreme Court prior to their ruling. And yes, I believe that a two term limit on all politicians must be made mandatory. These people just feathering their own nests must be stopped.

The Democrats will attempt to highly influence the Supreme Court, it is that simple. IF the people who reside in the Supreme Court bow to the Democrats... it will be further proof that the Govt. is corrupted from the top on down.

Get your defense ready Pelosi ... the people will come for you... to kick you out of office.
