It won't matter what it will cost as the U.S.
is, like in Vietnam, going to do whatever it takes to present the farce of "allies" or "coalition" to make it look like someone else cares.

Someone else generally cares to the extent our government foots the bill, provides them with foreign aid, gives their businesses big contracts,
etc. . . . . . .

Just bomb the living hell out of that place and be done with it. I'm sick of politicians interfering in a war when they have no idea what they are talking about. You don't ask a plumber to wire your house, you don't ask a fat politician to fight a war.

That does make sense,unfortunitly we always have a politician as commander in chief,so there it is.

Hey guys, don't knock the U.K. Soldiers. The Brits will fight and like us they don't make policy, they just go where they are ordered.

Yep, the Brits are good troops. But, like our Boys & Girls In Service, they are at the mercy of their inept government.

Look at it as "Lend-Lease: The Third Generation." I would much rather give the one ally America can always rely on to be there when we need them replacement crew-served weaponry, than give it to some third-world tinpot dictator to use in oppressing his own people!

In terms of common law and common religion, the Brits and most of their Commonwealth are much closer in spirit to America than some of the people we have aided around the world. And unlike most of the rest, they remember. History is a living thing to them, and they remember their friends.
