| I was called out when I was stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida ... by a good ol' boy who couldn't help calling me a damn Yankee. Apparently us Yankees can't shoot for sh*t. He kept it up until one day, I was tired of his nonsense and took the challenge. 50 rounds, highest score... a good ol' Boy with a Ruger P89 against a damn Yankee with a H&K USP .40. Needless to say... I took his money. He continued to call me a damn Yankee but got real quiet and evasive when I asked him about our "friendly" competition. I guess I should have told him I used to shoot competitively...? Nah ... |
