i was lookin at the local gun store adn found a H&R 44 mag synthetic stock blue barrel. it was $150 im thinking that this is a pretty good deal. idk y i need it but it looks like fun. what do you think?

We all have different taste in firearms ,what you might like I may not.
With that said I would ask what do you intend to use the gun for ?
Hunt, Plink, Home defense or would just like to have it ?
The price don't sound bad at all. But what it really boils down to Is wether you like it and thats all that matters.
Sorry i can't be much help but I'll say this, it would be fun to shoot and you could Deer hunt with it...A.H

yeah id maybe hunt hogs, and deer with it. i think it would be just a decent little gun and since it dont cost to much

I think it'd be a fun little gun to have around, good for 100 yard and under deer and hog hunting. And for $150 you can't hardly beat it.

I picked one up used a while back. It was used and abused. Whoever had it before me put it through the ringer but from the looks of the bore didn't put too many rounds through it. It was a good shooter. I am scavenging the barrel and action for a project gun. I am taking the ejector off the barrel as well as the fore end stud. Here is the sweet part. When I finish the project gun I will send the sbe2 receiver and butt stock back to H&R and for less than $90 a pop I can get several callibers put on it. I can buty 3 different handi rifle barrels in different calibers for what I would pay for 1 encore barrel. For $150 I wouldn't wait too long to decide.

LOL...LOL Man I am so sorry to hear it was sold !!! But don't that always be the case.
I have thought about this question and it would be a fun gun to have.

Leroy, Keep an eye out for another one no matter the caliber. As long as it is an SBE2 receiver it will take any barrel they make. You can send the receiver and butt stock back to H&R and they will put another barrel/caliber on it for about $90. They go for around $329 and up new so don't let another one get away from you.
