PAPA G - I think we all missed it, whatever happened. Most of us missed it anyhow!

Dang, from that one shot with the Stinger, I can still smell the dog hair once in a while, when the wind blows down here to us in the PRK. That coyote must still be flying around, or whatever is left of it!

I can't wait to hear him tell of his next long shot!!!

Has this turned into a private club, open by invitation only?
Dewman is my friend and the whole idea of him having to be approve to post here gripes my butt.
I don't get as much time to play with this computer as I used to and haven't posted here in a while. Maybe I'm not welcome either.
Have things changed since the days when we were all friends?

No Hank, nothing like that I'm sure. If you look at the post date, (older than dirt) this was when the change went down and there was stuff going on 90% of the people here know nothing about and probably don't care. I can't speak for everyone, but IMOHO there are no us & thems. We all like the same chit man.

As far as you not personally being welcome. That's ludicrous. Now if your from IL like Griz and I, you may have a problem LOL

My Thoughts

Howdy,

Hey I would also welcome Dewman back here. But then I wonder if we are all here and at CSP and at Flying Lead, is there still a reason for all 3 sites? Maybe I put too much weight into a few guys importance?

(When I say weight you know what I mean, nevermind most of us, me included are magnum sized... and that was IMPORTANCE not impotence.....big difference!!) LOL!

I just think, what the hell, if Dewey want to post here, why not?
Dewey has always been an asset to this and other forums. Dewman's presence here shouldn't depend on a vote. Dewman hasn't changed. He's the same old friend he's always been.
This board has always been made up of good people who welcomed input from all who approached it in a friendly manner without abusing or beating up on others.
This board has changed a little inappearence and has undergone administrative changes, but I still see many of the same old names and a few new ones.
I've looked around a lot and this seems to be a friendly place to spend time.
Why, then, even mention voting on Dewman? Why not just extend a hand of friendship and welcome the man?

Well, I still love all you boys. I hope I haven't hurt any feelings. Sometimes that happens when I speak my mind.
I mean well.

Thumbs up WELL SAID HANK ..................

Dewman would post here if he feels like it. the poll thing is wrong too. Dewman is a strong, witty, intelligent guy, and if he chooses not to be here so be it.

Howdy Hank!

Howdy Hank.

I agree, anyone is welcome, or should be anywhere. And it is up to them to decide. Dewman is far from a trouble maker. I was just thinking about would all 3 sites become too much of a wash with everyone on all 3. I know where to go to converse with certain people as many do not cross over on the sites I visit... Just some fancy thinkin by a dullard on my part......

Guys, this thread is almost a year old and was started by Robert after the change to V-bulletin. I would welcome anyone who wished to join this website, (that's kind of the point of having a message board in the first place). I welcome EVERYONE! Nobody needs to be put to a "vote" or seek approval to join. The only thing required to register is a valid e-mail account. This holds down the spammers and trolls. I haven't heard Dewman's name in a while. I hope he is doing well.

I've joined 4 other forums but spend most my time on here. I find it confusing at times and usually go to the others when this site is down or is slow. This is considered home to me (as if you can't tell from all the post's!) There seems to be some kind of problem between the old timers and the new format and admin. I don't know why and don't care, as adults we should all get along. I haven't talked to Dewman much, but he seems like a decent guy. As you can see this thread was started way back in the olden days so I really don't see why it was brought up again. If Dewman wants to be here, he'll be here, if not thats up to him.

Talking That sums it up

Joe

Dew man has ben the source of great info on both my 1911's and my 03A3(From his personal info sites...I also really enjoyed his post regarding the DewMan SpudChuckin'Cannon...In fact I built a replica and love playing 100 yard yard darts with it. My kids get a big kick out of the big bang...

Dewman's out there and he'll be back when the timing is right...in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he's already here under another pseudonym...Jerry...Are you really Dewman in drag?

Cool

The Dewman is all over the G&G site and I figure if he wants to post here he will.I find him rather interesting and entertaining over all and think he could contribute a lot,but it is his choice.I don't think he or anyone else would make or break this site.
