Don't worry... be happy!

Ya know Cyrille… Out of all the people I know right now you need the book “The Secret”…. To become an old bitter man solves nothing… I see it mostly in people who either don’t believe in God, or people who believe that God has let them down for some reason or other… I know people have been complaining about the government since it started to exist… and yes that is usually the being of change… but a wise man once said to people, who were doing just that, back in world war two; That “don’t you think it would be more effective to pray for our government than to criticize them… Which do you thing would be more helpful in their time of need… Try reading the book “The Secret” It worked great for my wife and now she is more enjoyable to be around… We have grandchildren now and I have always tried to be a good example for my children and grandchildren… because this is the only real way they learn, God knows talking doesn’t work, and I want them to grow up and have a happy life; Not to become bitter… and I know that you would like to have that for the little ones that watch you… life can not be that bad if you have a roof over your head and food to share with your family… It’s all about habitually thinking… No! The attitude “don’t worry be happy” may not do much for our government, but I just might make your family and you a little bit happier…

Tell me! when is there a time that your soul is not struggling to be free…? How do you suggest we solve this…? Who's bragging? It may be that I am wrong, wrong, wrong in beliving that this country may be heading down the tubes, It may be that Thomas Jefferson was wrong when he said "the goverment that governs least governs best" [which is certianly not the case today] It may be that "a well regulated militia, being necessery to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." is passe and does not apply to today's situation[s] But I seriously doubt that Jefferson, the 2d amendment and myself are all three mistaken. I may be and I hope that I am, but I see a blood moon rising! sorry if that offends anyone. However the last time I looked I could still have my own opinion

I am all for the U.S. government as it should be according to the constitution.
I am not for a goverment that is run by power hungry officals who think only of enriching themselves at the expense of the governed and remaining in power until they pass from the scene.

Don't worry... Be happy

I grow up 30 miles south of the LA riots… When I got out of the Army back in 1970 my whole family move to Northern California to get away from the “big Doom and Gloom” as it was labeled within my family… As we all watched and wait for world war three, or the coast of California to fall of into the ocean… we tried hard to start over and make a new home… It was fifteen years later before I felt like I had roots again… I can remember my whole family worrying so much about this big doom and gloom coming that we were missing out on the good things that was right under our noses…It is push 40 years later and guess what! … No dome and gloom… If you live your life for the “what if” you will never enjoy the moment…

Worry never climbed a hill,
Worry never paid a bill,
Worry never dried a tear,
Worry never calmed a fear.

Worry never fixed a heel,
Worry never cooked a meal,
Worry never composed a song to sing,
and actually, worry never did a worthwhile thing.

Do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Jesus Christ

Fellas, I'm doing my best to do what I can for my country. I'm not jumping for joy at the way we've evolved, but if we pay attention to what's going on, we can bring about change for the better! You can bet your bottom dollar the other folks are paying attention! They figure if we get lax in our vigilance, they can beat us, and disarm us. So we need to watch what's happening, and counter it with OUR votes, and do our best to help steer this country to a better future. If all the choices are bad, we have to decide which is the LEAST evil, and then work at steering that choice in the right direction! I'm not going to waste any more time bashing other members' cities and states, because there's more important problems on the table in front of us. If we stick together, there's strength in numbers. Let's not alienate our own folks with badmouthing. We all have our opinions, and have the right to them, but let's try hard to keep everything in perspective. I love being here, but it's painful to read some of the the things that are written, and I have been guilty of it myself. We can persevere if we stick together!!!!!

That is correct Seabeescotty we shold all concentrate on the issue at hand and "disarm" those whom we feel are against us at the polls. That is the way it is done in this country so people let's all get out and vote for the "least evil" and hope against hope that given the choices we have we make the right one!

2nd ammendment rights

based on how the supremes rule the 2nd ammendment may become a moot issue as far as who stands for what?? time will tell? they would have to show their worth as a candidate on other issues.

Hey, maybe something easy, like removing illegals from our country, and securing our borders?

lol that might end the problem thats why the gov won't take that approach with out a fight!! how can they impose more laws and take away rights if theres no apparent reason? even the sheeples would question their actions.
