Ok, so I am thinking about getting the finish on the slide of my Sig redone. Not sending it back to Sig because after the way they spoke to me when it needed warranty work they won't get another cent of my money.

I was thinking about hard chrome for a nice two tone finish. Who is someone who does this that is trustworthy enough for me to send off the slide for the work? And what can I expect to pay for it? Thanks!

Can I make a suggestion? Some of the Duracoat finishes look excellent and wear even better.

I'm just looking for something real strong that won't hurt the frame any further and can be applied easily over the nitron finish. I've heard good things about duracoat. And have considered it. I may still do it, but if I do, the gun's gonna end up a funny color. I just can't help myself, I've already done my Bersa in funny colors. LOL! And the Sig may end up Battleship gray. LOL!

had my xd moly chromed and it turmed out great. the only down fall Is the guy went out of bussiness. though to get the whole top slide done was around $75.00. which I didn't think was that bad.

virgil tripp is the best in the business when it comes to hard chrome.
