7mm Rem Mag

As I stated in a thread a week or so ago,my uncle gave me a Ruger M77 MII in 7mm Rem Mag.I am gonna go to the range tomorrow to shoot it for the first time.I would like some suggestions as to which factory loads you guys use inyour 7mm magnums.
I would like to use something in the 140-165 gr.
Thanks!

I used federal fusions this fall and they seem to shoot flat.

I like the fusions as well. I roll my own, so usually only shoot factory stuff when something new comes out.

Excellent bullet weight thoughts

As this is a new gun I suggest you purchase a box of catridges
from each of several of the major manufacturers. Get them in differing
bullet weights for your first trip to the range. All rifles will have certain ammo they "like" better than others. You just need to do a little searching on targets at the range. Eventually you will find what will produce results in your particular rifle.

Good Luck and Good Shooting.

I would say the fusions or core locks are a good bet cause they are less costly. That way you can break in your barrel with less cost.
