The T8 all-steel sound moderator, with eight baffles, extends the rifle by only 10cm (4"), and reduce peak noise exposure towards the shooter from the usual unsuppressed level of about 160dB, down to below the UK maximum limit of 140dB. Pls note: no suppressor can eliminate the ballistic "crack" of a supersonic bullet, but the sound of the report from a T8 towards the shooter is usually no louder, than the unsuppressed snap of .22 rimfire rifle shooting Hi-velocity .22 LR catridge Thread, mm

Not sure if we can get it over here (yet?), but it is legal in many states to own a sound suppressor. States like mine, though, make it illegal to "use" one on a firearm.

As for ordering it from that company, I'm not sure how the BATFE deals with "importation" of Class III/NFA items.

Don't know about importing stuff to the states but exporting is a right pain. Lots of shooting stuff that you can buy over the counter in Walmart, such as accessories like magazines or rifle scopes, sights, rings, bases and mounts require an export licence. So If I buy a set of scope mounts in the states I require an export licence to take it home. Crazy!

How much does an export license cost?
