7mm Rem Mag(Range Results)

Well guys,
I took the Ruger M77 MkII out for a test spin today.Man, the thing shot incredible @ 100yds. 3/4 inch groups with non-premium Winchester 150 grainers.
When the money frees up a bit,I plan to use something better.
Say a,150gr Remington Swift Scirrocos or the equivalent from Winchester.
Thanks for the help and info Guys,it means alot.

Feels as sweet as the one on my Rem.700.
Does have a little more travel than I am used to though.

That's great, I know that's always been a big complaint. But it sounds like you have a good one.

No I don't handload.Would like to get into it oneday though.
The uncle who gave me the rifle told me that when he is gone, all hunting things related he is leaving to me.He was really big into handloading. He told me to get the loads for the 7Mag but in the place he keeps his stuff, I didn't know what was what.

Congrats . . . .

Congratulations on an excellent shoot!
While you might want to continue experimentation with other
brands note that you may have already found what your
particular rifle "likes" (as the phrase goes).

Good shooting and good hunting with your winner of a rifle.

nathangdad,
Thanks for the input! It seemed to like the Winchester's pretty good.
I was a little interested in making it a "bean shooter".Which would call for more of a premium type ammo.
