Haaaaaaa....more to the story to futher humilate the department. "All units be on the lookout for a quad in a weelchair."

It's a tough day for all the other "good" cops and jailers in the department. I hope "fatty" likes cheese since she gonna be in the cheese line without a job for awhile.

Haaaaa.....color coded. That would have been interesting to see.

Very tough to not respond when the animals are in your face. When does a man stand up and fight? If you walk away from them it only encourages them more. Even if you had called the police I doubt they would have arrested him for spitting in her face. But odds are he might have been smart mouthed and gotten a disorderly conduct.

I suppose it's best to let the police try their hand and then after they leave let street justice prevail, preferably outside where few witnesses are around.

Tough to keep a cool head in it all though. "Revenge is a dish best served cold"

Thats atrocious, sad that things of this nature occur, we are supposed to be "civilized", but videos like this make me wonder if we really are better than the animals that crawl on the ground.

Being someone who works with special needs children and many of them are in wheel chairs - this video made me absolutely sick - I have never seen such a disgusting display of power over someone.

treating

newhunterette: Ma'am; treating anyone badly; especially the sick or physically challenged; is just about as wrong as wrong can be.

I saw the news thing; where the fellow; was dumped out of his chair.

Lord help them all. Vengeance is mine say'it the Lord.

Might be one of those times to step over the line.

I'm surprised no one has made a point of the fact that the man is a scofflaw and criminal. He was charged with trying to get away from a police officer after a traffic violation in October, and was brought in on a warrant for failure to appear on those charges.

To me, what the deputies did is a quite reasonable extension of the basic attitude that anyone who breaks the law is scum, and doesn't deserve to be treated like a human being. If this had been an able-bodied man who somehow got dumped on his face, I'm sure the common attitude on here would have been, "so what? If he doesn't like landing on his face, he shouldn't get arrested."

Should disabled people get a free pass from the casual contempt and mistreatment everyone else faces when jailed for minor offenses? It might make more sense for the deputies to just treat everyone they bring in, disabled or not, like a human being instead of a sack of !@#$...

It's kind of a long story, Bob. I've been helping a friend of mine reclaim a house that had been taken over by some gangbanger wanna-be's. I'll post a thread about it sometime tomorrow...

Do I like barbeque? What do you think

Yep, I like barbeque. I like grilling, smoking, pit BBQ, bean holes, dutch ovens, hibachis...you name it. If it's outdoor cooking, I like it. I don't claim to be expert at any of it, but I like it.
