This is a disturbing video. I hope someone pays dearly for this.

Brother Bob,
That was one of the most horrific things one of our "finest" could do!
A buddy told me about this video yesterday,I was told the county or city was going to pay through the nose to this gentleman.
I hope the officer in question is taken out back and pistol-whipped by the mans family!

Agree with 270wsm But I think pistol whipping would be to mild of punishment !

What the H--- is this? Where did it happen? I think I'll stay away from there, and spread the word for everyone to stay away! That fella oughta be arrested, convicted, and put behind bars for that kind of treatment of a handicapped person who can't defend himself!!!

Thumbs down

This happened in Tampa, FL. and that's a she, not a he. The bleep that dumped him has been charged with a felony.

They wouldn't have any problem making that charge stick if I were on the jury. Was any justification offered?

Without trying to sound like a jacka$$,it doesn't matter what they offered,THEY CANNOT JUSTIFY WHAT SHE DONE!

Everyone was so casual about it, I get the impression it was just business as usual. After he hit the floor another officer patted him down, then a couple of them picked him up and matter-of-factly dumped him back in his wheelchair. No one objected; no one acted surprised.

There ain't enough apology in the world to cover what was done to him! It'd be like 'em blowin' your legs out from under you! I hope they give the culprit a long time to think about it!

I noticed that too, Troy. It's like "we do this every day". How can the public respect law enforcement when we are treated like livestock when in their hands?????

Wink

In Memphis, you wear different colored bracelets, depending on the severety of the crime. When I got processed with my Felony Assault charge, everyone else stayed away from me. The jailers would place their hand on their pistol every time I moved. Of course when everything came out in court the charges were reduced and expunged. We were at a Mexican food restaurant and the guy behind us was loud and abbusive. My wife turned around and glared at him. The guy called her a "female dog" and spit in her face! I jumped up and pinned him in the booth and pounded on his face a few times until others in the place pulled me off. We left and a short time later police showed up at my house. I had put quite a "hurtin" on the punk and he was at Methodist North hospital. The police were really pretty nice about it. I explained what happened and they said they probably would have done the same as I. Well, that's all water under the bridge. I've mellowed out since then. No more fighting for me. If it happens again, I'll just shoot the punk! LOL!
