Early Mosin Receivers

Does anyone have an early receiver with a Barrel Thread Pug? If so, can you tell me what the tang date on that receiver is? Thanks!

I honestly have no idea what you're asking... but my earliest rifle's date is my 91/59's 1938.

My other 91/59 and 91/30 are both 1943.

Nope. It identifies that they exist. I checked my M91, no such luck. As it is under the stock, no real way to know from rifles in the stores either. I'll end up having to call someone I guess.

My Finn M-39 (barrel dated 1942) has an 1895-dated receiver! But I haven't had it destocked in awhile - no idea about the barrel plug thingy.
