What are you talking about? I have a Rossi 92 in 45 Colt and numerous Ruger Vaqeros in 45 Colt. There is no difference in chamber dimensions between the two guns. ALL GUNS are chambered to SAAMI specs no matter what their action is. I shoot the same load of 2400 and 250 grain XTPs in each gun and use the same brass for both. Pistol cartridges rarely need trimming because they are loaded to lower pressures, and have straight case walls. Bottle necked cases tend to stretch, not straight walled or slightly tapered cases. That's why you need to trim rifle cases all the time, and pistol cases tend to split necks before needing to be trimmed.
