Open Carry or Concealed Carry????? - Page 2

I used to carry my Super Blackhawk 44mag open sometimes, man did that ever get some people all twisted up. I carry CC now and have for years, in Alaska you can CC with or without a permit. I have a permit for NICS exemptions and for CC in other states. Last I saw Alaska has reciprocity with 38 (?) states I think it is.

Regarding a Federal permit: I think that is just another invitation for some politician to abuse the data base and give them one more thing to use toward confiscation. I trust my state to keep the data private far more than any Fed agency, maybe that is naive but I'll take it.
