Not Sure

I am not sure if this is the right place for this post or not but here goes.
I was speculating with a friend and we were in agreement that it might be a good idea to buy an extra AK soon, and see if prices go up as this years election draws near. I am not a gun dealer but a wise purchace in the spring may net a few extra dollers in November, at a gun show. Any thoughts on this. Either this or start collecting old air conditoners, and discarded gas grills to get a free gun.

I am not sure if this election will drive prices up or not. Many seem to think so however. What I do know is the prices for AK's, or any foreign rifle will only increase over the years. Now with importation of parts kits being halted, maybe instead of an AK you should be buying up kits, or barrels, or furniture! I have bought several barrels, and I am still not seeing any U.S. manufacturers for them.

I am going to a gun show on Saturday. I will probibly pick one up. I was going to stick with the basic GP WSAR 10. If anything else it will be a reliable inexpensive gun. I have also had my eye on an underfolder. But I may just bail out on my plan if I come across a really good deal on something else.

Before choosing an underfolder, be sure to shoulder it and try to get a sight picture on the sights. I personally found it rather uncomfortable because you have to cant your head and hold it in mid-air, since there's nothing to get a cheek-weld on. For the same reason, I decided against the side-folding wire stock. Unless it's a side-folding full-stock, I'm going to always stick with full-stocks.
