.460 Mag
I purchased a .460 after reading the test in G & A. The test info talked about the extra machining and polishing that went in to the cyllinder to keep the ultra-high pressure gasses from etching the surfaces. There must be a reason for that!
I started with .45 long colt, then .454 Casull, and finally full power .460 loads. The fireball is incredible. It is a rush to shoot. That being said, I don't want my body parts anywhere near where the fireball, or the concussion comes from.
I have seen the pictures, and it's not pretty. The guy says he didn't feel pain at first (probably because there were 3rd degree burns, which kill the nerves).
Just another example of the need for basic safety, and familiarization with each firearm.
The lawsuit possibility sucks. Lack of common sense should not be rewarded.
