Naughty.. not suppose to take deer with a pea shooter in .223.
I'll raise the stakes.. i was dropping dingo's last week at 300+
My poor old Parker Hale M82 sniper - I need training wheels to move it these days. After 12 hrs drive each way my back was ruined.

Worse still i got too close to the european Kahles scope and i now have a new "ring of stupidity" cut into my forehead

That is a JP brake, loud, sorta different looking where as some called ugly, but darn effective. Takes alil getting use after shooting something else as it almost pulls the gun away from you. Zero muzzle rise on that 6mmAI, makes for seeing bullet impact a breeze. I'm thinking about putting one the pistol barrel pictured, for the same reason of seeing impact.
I use them for PD"s too, the brake is real nice when I don't have a spotter, and can send a few rounds down range to make the necessary adjustments.
Being heavier I thinking of putting an OPS on the #1, but then again, that barrel isn't far off from replacement, so I may wait.

Dave

Yote Rifle

The farm I hunt border's Nashville TN city limits, so we don't exactly get long-distance shots. Lots of yotes hitting our deer and farm critters, so my son and I occasionally go after them with our deer rifles.
