New Yugo SKS owner

I finally recieved my SKS today its a 1969..Looks good and has clean shiny rifling.. 165 shipped came with a lotta stuff i dont think is SKS stuff like about 6 ammo pouches (one says 30 cal ball on it)sling looks proper but is missing the pin for one end of sling, has 4 stripper clips with it, two rifle man mags LOLI will read them later ..Took it apart and checked what I knew to check following a video.. seems good shape ..Why cant I find a imort stamp on it ??ohh and tool kit in butt is so full of cosmo !![ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]New Yugo SKS owner-hpim1289.jpg[/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH]well only one loaded

congrats im glad it finaly came.....got worried when you said you sent the check and it had not come.... hope you like it and have lots of fun!

well it had to go to west virginia and its deeper in the boondocks than missouri so that is probably why it took so long LOL

looks great, congratulations. my tool kit was packed with cosmoline too, so bad I haven even bothered trying to clean it yet. good luck with the new rifle, looks like you got a really good deal!

Great looking SKS Marion! I missed the post so am just now seeing your prize! Can't wait for a range report to see how that thing shoots!

I pray we have a nice weekend. I have a deep need to bust some caps. Have Mosins to shoot and at least one SKS.

I found a Russian in great condition yesterday and for less than I could buy a yugo from J&G I bought it. Tula arsenal, pretty dark wood, excellent bore.

Thanx Tex I to need to shoot some. Have SKS and a m38 to finish sighting in and just got 500 rnds of ammo for sks

Want that cosmo off fast? Pull your furniture and run it thru the dishwasher if you can fit it.

I guess its the wood worker in me that wont let me do that!! I know a lotta guys swear by it but the old wood worker says wood and water no good!! My SKS doesnt have any cosmolne anyway it has already been cleaned up! If it works for you go for it !!
