Lead Free ammo?

Anyone ever use the non-lead for big game hunting? California have majority of the state closed to lead ammo for big games. I guessed some a--hole though California condo feeded on guts pile from animals that was shot with lead bullet. You'll only get this sort of story in California!

Anyway, anyone have experince with non-lead ammo? If yes, where can I buy some because I know I would have to resight in my rifle to the ammo.

I've tried Remington, lead-free, 168 gr "match"...what a misnomer!
It's fairly accurate but have no clue as to making clean kills or how the solid copper bullet mushrooms. The Remington web-site doesn't even show it.
That California Condor dying from lead poisoning is slim. Californians are killing the poor build by eliminating the habitat for their "6 million dollar homes"; just gotta have that beautiful view from the terrace.

gun shop stuff
federal fusion works about the same but it is lead core
barnes does a tungsten core also
what is amusing is first they ban lead shot and now the stuff they make
to replace it is better than lead ever was
maybe a new world of bullet development is about to open up?
along with the price

suppose to be .01% or NO lead from the ammo although they allowed target shoot but just can't hunt with lead.

I have had mixed results with Barnes. But now that we have to! I am working up load with TTSX for my 300WSM. so far 68 gr. of H4831 is working well
