Question M91/30 Sites distances

I am having a hard time determining the distances on the graduations on my Mosin's adjustable rear site. I know it is in Russian increments but could someone help me out in how to convert it to english yards?
Thanks in advance!

They are most likely in Arshins. (sp) Arshins are 28" or two foot incriments. However, some are in yards. Check out 7.62x54.net to learn more. I think it is if the lines goes 10, 20 etc. Then they are yards. I get the feeling that an Arshin (common length of a step at the time) is the same as a Hunter's yard.

You aren't telling us what model your Mosin-Nagant is, so I'm guessing it's an M91. The M91s used "arshins," an archaic measurement equivalent to about 28 inches.

If they aren't graduated in arshins, they're graduated in meters, not yards. 1 meter = 1.0936133 yards (39.3700787 inches).

I don't know about the refurb but it is a 1943 Izhevsk M91/30 with matching numbers.

I just spent some time on 7.62x54r.net .
According to there it is marked in hundreds of meters.
Thanks to all who helped!
