My First Reload

Just got done loading three .348 shells and BOY WAS IT FUN! Shot them too . God this is great feeling an old rifle come back to life. Played it safe and made my dad fire the first round :P But he like put the rifle at his hip pointed into the hill and turned away... The loads worked fine!!! THANKS A LOT SWEDE!!!!! Was dusk when fired and i enjoyed the little fireball at the end of the rifle. I also will recommend the Lee Hand Press to ANYONE. It is great to use for small reloads, or big if you want to have some fun. But with the .348 case it is really smooth and takes almost no pressure. I am very glad I decided to do some reloading. Now to get the Gibbs Enfield type gun (I forgot the name) thats at a local gun shop for 268 and start reloading for that.

Congratulations. Now,be sure to use plenty of lube on casings and check resizing die for lube buildup. If lube builds up in die,you get wrinkles in shoulder. sam.

I understand the lubing a little bit. I followed directions that Lee gave me with the press. But what's the reason for the lube, and where all should i be putting it?
