Good Question about Iraq

Hmmm foreign banks, billions of dollars.Sunnis and shiites at war, a devisive iraqi parliment, terrorism, syria, iran, bin laden. Think any of those are benefitting from iraqi funds ? Of course had the US been in control of the funds for rebuilding efforts we would have even greater corruption/fraud than now.

How is it I wonder that the funds were not set to go to a designated account overseen by a 3rd party , say the "GASP" U.N. for things such as this. Wait a minute, that requires foresight and planning. But then again what makes the U.N. an ideal arbitor. Maybe Switzerland, they are neutral after all and they have LOTS of banks !

Switzerland? Neutral? Hmm, we could debate that one. At least if you look at WW2 years.

+1. They need to compensate the $ we've spent for their liberation. They could have gotten rid of Saddam themselves (and not been a threat to the region) -- they chose not to and we intervened. Let them pay some of our expenses.
