Wink

I'm still having some fun with WSM's. The idea at least is at least 50 years old. Wild caters were trying strate walled cases using mag, 06, rigby and rimmed cases. Some were amazing and some were answers to non exestent problems, but fun! One of the problems with strate walled cases is they can have feeding problems when the action gets worn, but that mostly occured when they went to widening the front end of the feed rails added to the push feed action. But the factory actions take care of that I think, time will tell. As for full density powder charges, you can see throat eroison and at 60,000lbs plus you will. And last of all is the idea that a short round in a 1in shorter action will make for a majic handeling gun. Design, my friends, both the action and the stock will make majic. There are several companys that make 338 winchesters that weigh in at 5lbs and they are slick. But we are "Bullit Heads" and we want what we want, aint it great!! Doc( I like the 325 myself )
