Modified Blackhawk

Well, it took me to long, but I'm sorta done, need to relocate grip pin holes on the grips. This is a qualite grip frame and a bisley hammer. Lot of hand fitting with a file.

That is nice, did you custom build it or is this an after market kit for the grip?

The grip frame comes as a unfinished casting and the Bisley hammer needs a considerable amount of metal removed to fit the nmbh frame.

Three companies make grip farmes, 100-220 bucks. The cheap ones have NO mounting holes drilled and take more setup and machine work. The drilled birdshead run about 150, another 10 bucks for small parts. It's a fun project, takes about four-five hours of work. If you start with the drilled frame you can do the complete job with a hand file and sandpaper.
