.22 ammo ?

Hi all
We all know what makes .22 ammo accurate, namely consistency like Lupua for example.
So my question is, whats the most consistant low priced ammo, like around $3.00 or less?

I recently used Federal hi velocity 40gr. solids sighting in my scope @ 25 yds. It took a while but I did get it sighted in for that distance with those rounds.
I also shot those rounds at the outdoor range @ 50 yds with iron sights very accurate @ that distance also. That, however does not mean that those particular bullets are best for your rifle/pistol/revolver. But I paid under $3.00 for a box of 50 rounds. @ Academy Sporting Goods.

Tallbear,
I own 4 22s and have used many more. Just about every one like a different ammo. My fav is my brno no1 and it like the cheapest winchester rabbit ammo. I have a norinco that will only shoot federal ammo and a lithgow that will only shoot t-22 subs.

So buy a few and try them

My CZ shoots Fed 510 HV RN about as good as any. Got em for $1.07 a box of 50 at Walmart, but they may have went up in price since I bought mine back in the summer.
