SKS rear sight removal on a YUGO

How do I remove the rear sight from my SKS YUGO? I have mounted a very large scope on the rifle and the rear sight rubs on my scope.

I would probably look into a little higher mounts so you can retain use of your iron sights. Once you remove the sights you have to keep up with the parts so you can put it back on later if you were to chose to do so.
