It is almost 100% of the time your fault if you rear-end someone. In a case of road rage, I had an idiot pass me on the right hand shoulder. He then swerved in front of me and slammed on his brakes. I hit this jerk so hard, I almost drove him into the backseat.I got out of my car to beat this lunatic to death and he took off. I chased him for a ways and my wife got his plate number.Police were called and they eventually got the guy. He was given two tickets, I recieved zero.

tf

The second clue should have been when anyone competent (like the gun experts at ATF ) picked up that gun jerked the charging handle back, held the trigger down, recharged it and listened for the click. Simple simple test.

Yes, he did. I offered to come along but it turned out to be unneeded. It was thrown out. But on that day the cop said he had to write him a ticket "for something" because he made contact with another car. He decided damage already done to the other vehicle (it was rusting already) had been caused by him, so he decided he was speeding.

We slid and hit a poll five minutes after leaving the scene and I ordered him to turn around and go home.

Funny...I don't hear anybody blaming "the liberals" for this one, do I?

This was the ATF going after a veteran on a nonsensical change in Wisconsin.

Anyone still think the Right will protect you when the government decides, for whatever inane reason, that you are "trouble"?

This is the point I keep trying to make, those in power, by and large, do not care about us in any reasonable sense. It doesn't matter which side of the political spectrum they sit on. It's about power and control. Only methodology differs. The crazy Left will try for bans, the crazy Right will arrest you for a malfunction.

I really hope the NRA or some other organization helps fund his appeal. This seems the sort of case that has a good chance of being overturned.

I hope.

... or at least being lead by a Democrat who is pushing his anti-gun agenda like Gov. Doyle, Wisconsin.

He'll probably use this to press his agenda that we're all a bunch of crazy gunners without any regard for law... like the "wild, Wild West" comments we hear most anti-gunners refer to.

Coeloptera ... look up Governor Doyle, Wisconsin and tell me if you believe him to be a Liberal. I already know my answer, especially having to live under his "rule of state"...

Any politician who decides to fight the people on the right to the 2nd Amendment needs to be forced out of office regardless of political affiliation. Strangely enough, most Democrats support anti-gun legislation, the proof is in the voting. Those Republicans who support them are no better and need to be removed also.

I think that response is bipartisan enough...

Hi buddy! I'm off tomorrow so I should be able to keep the forum popping! LOL! I concure with Lou Dobbs. This is scary. I hope my AR-15 never malfunctions with witnesses around. I made an oath many moons ago to defend this country from all enemies, foreign or domestic. If that includes my own government, so be it!

We both took the same oath ... I'll do the same.

Doyle knows the wolf is at his door... he knows the pro-gun people in his state want their freedoms.

One point that people forget is that we own this country, we are this country, not the government. I've worked for Uncle Sam, but I never feared him..........until now. We need to cut him back down to size in November! It's time to let them know that they represent us and that it is us that decides whether they keep their job. I believe career politicians serve no useful purpose, except their own. I wish Americans would keep up with what's going on and use their head when they vote. Maybe these forums will educate the masses. God knows the media doesn't!
