I think If you were limited to just one fire arm the old 12 gauge would be the most versatile. availability of ammo many things to consider?

Steps:

1) Train to become a ninja
2) Buy ninja gear
3) Guns are now useless against you

i didn't read the second page of posts but i will post what i am planning on, i have no money so i haven't bought any of these

i plan on having a m4 shotgun, it is the only shotgun i ever want to buy and it is versitle, can take down birds, large game with a slug, bear defense with a slug, and against people shotguns i hear are good, though no expirience with that factor
i also plan on having a P90 PDW, PDW says it all for me i want a light weapon with light ammo(about half the weight of a 9mm) that is used for personal defense.

this doesn't fall within the beginning post but i am also going to have a five-seven, it uses the same ammo as the p90. i think the p90 and the five seven are good because the ammo is extremly light and it would be good to bug out with as much ammo as you can, i have no hope for being able to find ammo for it i belive but it is good to start out with.
i am also going to have a .45 subcompact and a 9mm subcompact for those calibers that i salvage, i don't care for .40 caliber much
i am going to have a 10mm glock 20c for fast animal defense and people since i belive it can be used for both, i would probably keep it loaded with high grain loads in case i do come up against a small bear or something
and my last and final gun would be a ruger .22, this would only be for hunting because for small game you don't really need a big caliber lest you blow it up

i was also thinking about a big bore but i feel it would put my weight over too much, this is my plan for a backpack sized bug out, where you must go on foot

There is a Thompson smg at Dunhams that is all matching and is in brand new almost perfect condition, it is the first model of the Thompson, it has the wood pistol grip in front and it comes with a cleaning kit and a drum magazine.

The price is $1599.99 and it seems like a really nice gun like that would cost a crap load more than that, what do you guys think?

P.S. Dont be tellin me to go buy it cause Ive got mosinitus and not much money which is a bad combination of things to have, I wish I had enough money though.
