As a newer member, I can say that my lack of posts has nothing to do with feeling unwelcome. It just seems that I either don't have the experience of a lot of member or what I have to say has already been said. What little I have had to offer so far has always been respectfully accepted. I appreciate what everybody has to offer on here, I've learned a lot and don't plan on going anywhere.

I guess I'm relatively new, and I've always felt welcome here. I disappeared for a couple weeks though mostly because of a bunch of stuff keeping me too busy to socialize much.

Some people also just come to a forum really not sure what they are looking for, and with that, not finding it... and they don't come back.

Total adding what I can here.

I've been around quite a few different forums on the internet and I only stick with the good ones. This is one of the GREAT ones ! One heckuva nice warm welcome to my intro post and the people all seem just as nice as can be.

Thanks to everyone who came before me for making this a great place to hang out!

I'm a new member - look at my post count. Joined after lurking for a few days to check things out and figured this to have an fun and interesting bunch of people. Put my first post on the welcome forum and received many friendly and encouraging replies. That was very nice.

I don't anticipate being one who posts a few times then vanishes, don't expect to make a lot of posts in a short time, either.

As for those who come and don't stay, well, don't worry about them. You can't please everybody. It's like if you host a large party and a lot of people show up. Some will become friends, others will mingle a few minutes and decide it's not their scene. If they don't stay, that is their choice and that is ok. It is not because you are doing anything wrong.

Hi

I am a relatively new member here and have been made to feel at home. And I thank everyone that has replied to the post I have writtened.

I was surprised that in a post I wrote in reference to the American Cancer Society I only had 1 member make a donation. I figured there would be more.

I also understand that people deal with cancer in there own way.

But i do like the forum and everyone has been friendly and I feel welcomed here.
