Has anyone here ever loaded or bought any short 12 gauge ammo. I once saw an article in reloader where they were loading 2 inch 12 gauge ammo. Ive seen the 2.5"ammo and was just curious.

Iv'e shot the shot Auglia slugs. They don't cycle in my 870. Winchester 1200 pumps are said to cycle them. I would't hunt with them. they were something fun to poke around with at the range.

The shot shell versions may take small game within reason

never shot any but i know sometimes they are used for defense, etc. more rounds fit in the tube so it makes sense for that idea. not practical for hunting i wouldn't think

I think the police use these. Probabaly because they can load more rounds.

well since they dont cycle in an 870 id say not around here they dont, i have a police trade in shot gun! and its a........870!

ps i think its cooler than the avrage 870 though becouse it has all the police markings on it!

i was thinking they would be good to cut down on over penetration for home defense.
