Finally got to shoot it!

Well I have been having my m44 for a couple few weeks and today I finally got a day with some time to go try it out.

Me and the wife went with my ruger 9mm... hers now, My charles daly 1911 45, and the m44.

My wifes first time shooting a hand gun, so im teaching her to aim the 9mm, maybe next time she will actually get it on the target but at least now she knows the feel and enjoyed it.

She shot one round of the 45 and it blew her away, didnt want anymore of that one lol.

Last but not least, the M44. I was as nervous as she was to shoot the 9mm, for me to shoot the m44. So I took a deap breath and WHAM! It was great!!! I shot about 20 rounds just to feel it out. It did shoot a little high and to the left like everyone was saying so next trip I guess I will be trying to sight it better as I like to shoot with the bayo in. I compensated to the right for my following shots and grouped pretty good for the rest of the rounds. My shoulder did ache a little when I left which is to be expected and I may be sore in the morning but hey, its worth it right??!!

Hooray for you for taking the wife! Isn't the M44 great! I love mine, but I still like the M91/30 a little more. My all time favorite is the M39. But hey! I don't have them all yet either! LOL.

What? Hard to type with one arm around this Mosin and another around my m39 with an Enfield across my lap. I love the smell of Hoppe's. Intoxicating it is!

I don't see anything unusual in that. After all they were only dating....

... right? Nothing really serious, no ring or tag... right?

Steve??? Tell me you didn't tag her!!!
