Nature At Play (Large Photos)

A friend sent me these, reportedly taken by a Montana Hunter last winter.

I think I have a new "Pwned!" pic.

I love the look on the fox's face in the 2nd image.

Is that a Golden Eagle? Wings are the right shape and it's big enough, but I don't know their winter plumage.

Me thinks the fox might have been playing at first, but the whole time that eagle was seeing that fox as possible dinner. lmao. Me thinks that fox finally wised up. Or were they both picking at what looks to be a carcus <(spelling) in the snow there? Looks like I see some ribs sticking up in the snow?

That's definitely a carcass. Cloven hoofed, could be a deer but I can't see it very well.

Heh, descended from the dinosaurs. Bird's not taking any guff from some upstart mammal that day!

(Consider these pics saved to my harddrive when I get home. You got a photo credit?)

I love the look on that foxes face in the 2nd pic. Looks like Wiley Coyote just before the ACME rocket malfunctions (again). Meanwhile the Magpies are cleaning up while the others are fueding.

Leave it up to A.H., my buddy, to ruin a perfect thread! Eagle, A.H.! Not eagel! Not only that, it's cold out there with all that snow and that Fox's "nards" are sucked up into his body like yours would be if it was that cold! Not only that, that fox is getting his azz whooped by a big azz bird and his "nards" are the least of his worries! Do you see the talons on that eagle? He could rip that fox to shreads. That's probably what happened after that last picture we got! Don't make me take a week off to come visit you! You wouldn't like the edumacation I gave yer hillbilly azz! LOL!

After seeing that fox's face in the second picture, I don't think he had any nards left to peck.
