| Great Day! :( Welp, I hope everyone else's day is going better than mine. I just got home after spending four hours in the emergency room because a u-joint cap exploded while I was driving it out, sending several metal splinters into the palm of my left hand. I dug one out but the other two are too deep. After all of that, the doc told me they weren't worth going after, gave me a tetanus shot, and sent me home. Work should be a ton 'o fun next week!

| Sounds like no fun at all! You two take care of yourselves. Toolman, I am just glad those metal fragments didn't go into your eye! Easier to deal with a bum hand than a bum eye. Heal up quick guys!

| Damn Toolman how did you manage to explode a u-joint cap ? I have changed 100s of u-joints over the years and have never had that happen. I do get statrled when I have to heat those stupid GM plastic injection/ retained u-joints prior to removing them. All that heat makes the grease inside go POW! some times, happened twice just the other day. Let me know so I dont do what you did ! Heal quickly ! |

| Hope your feeling better soon. I use the Hyd press at work for those silly things. A large vise will suffice too.
