Good point! If you haven't worked with stain, try using another similar piece of wood to see how many coats looks best!

You can heat it some way. I used my old grill but I also striped and refinesed mine too. When I put mine to heat all kinds of gooey cosmo came out of it but never has since so it must have worked.
