10/22 safety reversal?

I'm a lefty and would like to know if the safety can be reversed?

ya if you have a good gunsmith im left handed too i just deal with it becouse i dont have enough money to make changes like that or my parents wont let me one or the other!

hmmm...that is an interesting question...I'm not sure. It seems possible to remove the safety button and reverse it, but I don't know for sure. I'll have to look at it next time I clean my 10/22.

seems to me that it is posible. I just put a big head safety in one of mine and i think it will fit both directions.Its not that hard to do.
