I'm not sure if we have enough activity on the forum to support that type of forum.

Just my personal thoughts.

Yeah Chris we might. If you did it this way. lets say for example south carolina only had 2 active members, we would not have enough persone that are ACTIVE to be a "chapter' in itself. so then it would be joined with a neighboring state or two. So then you would have a SC, NC, GA chapter. That way you would be able to post LOCAL events that would be in the best intrest of the people. I am part of other forums that have that option and it is great, expecially for get togeathers and events. Also lets say I have a tool or part that you could borrow and meet to make the exange. or we get togeather for lunch or a meet for a shooting contest. IMO it is a good way to make a tight nit community even tighter. On my other forum we are like a brotherhood and being able to meet and greet other people is a blessing, and alot easier if you have a local fourms to post on. I would like to see a trial of the chapters at least and would lead a helping hand if the mods would like to try it out.

I rarely visit individual forums sections anyway, I always surf here using New Posts to see what's going on in all of them. Sometimes I'll visit For Sale sections on sites that have those.
