Landed a small plane on a runway that was way too short, couldn't stop so tried to take off again. By the grace of God I made it. Plucked tree limbs out of my landing gear when I landed at home base.

When I was 10yrs old my cousin and I made a hanglider out of 2x4s and an old tarp. I drew the short straw to test it out off the roof of the house. turns out our design was a little off.

Worked at a body shop a few years ago. I was laying in the passenger side holding carpet back so my friend could weld the driver's seat back into the floorboard. All of a sudden, there was a flame. He blew it out. No problem. Another flame. Problem. This one did not go out. He used the air tool and accidentally blew flames from one side of the car underneath to the other side of the car. Turns out, he hit the fuel line. It was in flames before we found a fire extinguisher. Close call.

one time when i used to run over the road, i was in or. and going down this really
steep mtn.[ called the cabbage], anyway another driver gets on the c.b. radio
and yells that he lost his brakes on his rig. he was behind me, so i let him come up
and matched his speed then pulled in front of him and he eased into the rearend
of my trailer and then i started braking and finaly slowed us both down to be able to stop. if you have ever been over that mtn. then you know how steep and curvy it is.
a couple of times i thought we were going over the edge.

I jumped off Purehell ( a bluff ) 112' drop to the water at Tenkiller Lake near Gore, OK
purehell was shut down (fenced off) by the parks department because to many people died jumping from it.

I was 16 years old, thinking back I relize how stupid I was.

Hit a guard rail doing a 100+, went thru the windshield, car slid 465 ft on its side while I rolled across 2 lanes of freeway, car flipped back on its wheels and I got up picked up my socks off the freeway(was knocked out of my socks, really) walked back to car and waited for help. Hiway Patrol told me no way I could have survived that crash.

I've been pretty lucky...

I did fall of a snowmobile once going about 40mph. I rolled through soft powder, and was fine, but walking back along where I rolled, I noticed some barbed wire sticking up not 3 feet from where I had been. That could have ended badly.
