Samuel,

The Private Message System, has not changed. Click on "Send a private message to "user"" when ever you would like to.

The friendship deal is a new feature added to connect users they are frequently in contact with and update others with features.

Sam, you're always lost. I hear it's a sign of old age and cootiness.

Hi Sam do this click on ArkansasHunter and it will take you to my profile.
When your there you'll see a message box to type your message.
Take your cursor (the arrow) and click "inside' the top left corner.
After you've done that now you can type your message, when your finished click the bar that says "Send Message" then your done.
Remember if you use this message box other members can see your message !

The other way that we've "been" sending messages that are "private" Click on
Contact Info...once you've done that you'll see to options.
Click on... Send Private Message To ArkansasHunter (Or who ever you want to send message to)
After you click on Send private message to ArkansasHunter you'll see on your moitor where you type the message you want to send.

What your doing "wrong" is your NOT typeing something in the "title" area.

Example: I type you a message about something in the message box.
I'm sending you a message about a reloading problem...SO I'll type in the title box
RELOADING PROBLEM or you can type Hey ! Stupid ! Anything you want to type there and then you'll be able to send your messages.

I hope I helped...One other thing when we post at the Forum you also have an option to use the title box, some do some don't fortunitly when you don't use it at posting something at the Forum your post will be posted.
But this is not the case when you send "Private Messages" you've got to type something in the title box for it to work.
A.H

Two items for Samuel

Hello Samuel,

First, the problem may be with your computer and the Windows program it most likely will be running. I had a Dell nearing antiquity and an early
windows XP. I started having many of your problems. My friend, a geek to the core, checked my system. He stated advances in programs and systems running forums and other activities had rendered my system obsolete. I was becoming progressively incompatible with the hardware and software coming into use for many applications. I now have a new Dell Vostro which was not that expensive and all my problems have disappeared. Note, if you do go with the Vostro do not get Vista as this is shot through with problems. Stick with the XP option which has upgrades built into it. This means you will most likely have to order from Dell as they have dumped their Vista machines into outlets like Circuit City.

Second, I followed through with my statement to check the ports on my Rossi slug gun. They are 90 degrees to the bore which means, naturally, the force goes outward rather than to the rear or front of the barrel. I cannot speak for all ported slug guns but this is what I found on my 20 gauge Rossi.

Good luck and good shooting,

Nathangdad

You lost me on all of that confuser stuff.I never got friendly enough with this thing to call it any name I would dare print on here. Second,as I said,The warning was for people standing near, kind of like having multiple chambers go off on a c&b revolver. Also I said I had never seen or heard of this happening. If something did shave off,it would be very tiny. sam.

I will take your word for that as you know from experience and I havn't had that problem yet. Please do not think I am picking on you elderly people.I respect my elders.By the way,I hope your medical problems came out ok,I'm not joking about this part.I do know about health problems. They are a real pain. sam.
