| Mexico: American Guns Killing Our Police. Smugglers' deadly cargo: Cop-killing guns - CNN.com Gotta love it. It's the same thing that Massachusetts was trying to do to Maine, saying Maine gun laws were non-existent, and as a result criminals would go to Maine to purchase guns, and then use them in Mass. for crimes. Rather than make it more difficult to purchase guns in the US, how about we enforce our borders better. Or better yet, how about Mexico starts doing a half-assed job at controlling their own criminals before they blame another country for their problems. If they ever contact the US Government about this problem, I hope they get a response like: "They day that you start controlling your drugs, illegal immigrants, and criminals, will be the day that we consider stopping our guns from going over the boarder". .50 Cal......gun of choice......"there's nothing that will stop these bullets" Except other, well aimed bullets headed in the other direction. YGBSM.....Never met an "American Gun" or "Italian Gun" that jumped up and shot at me. Total ignorance by reporters once again. Maybe we DO need a peacetime draft -- at least for folks that work in the news biz...

I think they should just pass a new law that makes it illegal to kill people, or maybe they could build their fence to keep out our guns.

Perhaps Mexico should actually start doing their own policing with their own resources and equipping the own police with the tools they need to get the job done right instead of pointing fingers other than towards their own long morally corrupt and bankrupt government and officials.

Friend of mine from Tampico, Mexico, shows me local news in Tampico, where the Mexican Army is going after the dope dealers there. Big shootout other day and the army locked up 6 policia for getting in the way. He says Mexican army doesn't care who they shoot. In a dope house, everyone is game. Kinda a like screw the corrupt policia. My kinda guys.

Maybe if the Mexican government started dealing with its thugs and crooks and taking care of the Meican people the way they are supposed to, Americans wouldn't have to deal with so many wetbacks and emigrant Mexican criminals. I still think we ought to forget about the fence and just start patrolling our southern border with Predators and Spectres. The Predators locate them and the Spectres finish the job. Shortly there's no more illegal immigrant problem. Might do wonders for slowing down the drug traffickers, too. It will never happen, oif course. It's too politically incorrect to actually do something that would secure the border, you see. |

| When they get someone that won't take the bribe/s sure, that just might happen. Problem there usually is that if they don't take the bribe/s, they kill them, thus making the next in line scared of the same. So they except the bribes and turn the other cheeks.

Mexican cops have harrassed many Americans visiting there country and have arrested them in order to receive bribes for there release. So they live by the sword, then they shall die by the sword. |

All good points by everyone. I seen that article today at work and we all had a good laugh. Thou, they mentioned a hand gun with a odd caliber that I've never seen before. This a common caliber?

The 5.7x28mm round really isn't a popular caliber. It's known as a "cop killer" because it can penetrate body armor...but so can a lot of bullets. It fires from the FN Five-seveN: FN Five-seven - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia And the FN P90: FN P90 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
