I followed the link to Yahoo news left in regards to the pilot that accidentally discharged his sidearm in the cockpit of the plane he was piloting. As I glanced down, I found this link and thought it might be a good idea to post it here. Just another one of those one sided articles the media loves to put out there.

AK-47s are turning up more in US - Yahoo! News

From the article: Since 1993, the year before the ban took affect, ATF has recorded a more than sevenfold increase in 7.62x39mm guns — which includes the original Russian-made AK-47 and a variety of copycats from around the world. The number of AK-type guns rose from 1,140 in 1993 to 8,547 last year.

Since 2005, the first full year after the ban's expiration, ATF has recorded an 11 percent increase in such tracings.

Could the increase be because we all fear our 2nd Amendment rights will be scrutinized, once again limiting us? Maybe many just want to make sure they get there's before it happens again.

Yet another in a long line of antigun articles in the mainstream media citing lies from the Brady Campaign and weasel-worded to make the NRA look uncaring about the citizenry of America - and making the implication you can obtain full-auto AKs easily here when it's in fact next to impossible to find full-auto anything legally at all.

I wonder just how much venom the Associated Press is going to spew when the Supreme Court decides DC v. Heller in our favor on constitutional grounds?

I have a feeling they'll resort to saying the judges need to be replaced or they probably buckled from pressure by the BIG NRA or some crap like that. God knows they won't say they made the right decision because that's what the Constitution says and means. Something along those lines or close to it.

One media source I hope has a heart attack from the news is the super anti-gun tell anything even lies about guns The Miami Herald.
