Charges dropped against Marine in killing of Iraqis..
The Marine Corps gave full immunity to Lance Corporal Stephen Tatum for testimony in the Haditha case.
CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The Marine Corps dropped charges and gave full immunity yesterday to a serviceman who was accused of involuntary manslaughter in a squad's killing of 24 Iraqis in Haditha in 2005.
As they should have been. Our soldiers can't tell the enemies from the civilians and most often, they're one in the same!!! Glad to see it's official though.

Absolutely, Desert Guerilla warfare, instead of the jungles of VietNam. Charlie wears the same clothes, and sells his goods in the Baghdad market place in the daylight hours, then plants IAD's on the roadside at night.
While engaging the enemy in a free fire zone any civilians in the area are subject to be killed or wounded by either side. They are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm glad the Marine Corps cleared L/C Tatum as they should have.
